Umhvørvisátakið endað

Kommunufelagið hevur avgjørt, at løna Runavíkar kommunu og Fámjins kommunu fyri sínar tilmeldingar til Umhvørvisátakið.

Runavíkar kommuna hevur meldað fríøkið við Prestá til ”best fyriskipaða náttúruøkið”. Grundgevingin fyri at løna tilmeldingina er, er at talan er um gott tiltak, sum bygdafólkini sjálvi hava tikið stig til og eisini sjálvboðin taka aktivan lut í arbeiðinum at gera Prestá til eina frítíðarperlu. Økið bjóðar uppá fleiri møguleikar í framtíðini, við fornminnum sunnanfyri Prestá og strandøkið niðanfyri, har fuglalívið kann bliva fjøltáttari.

Fámjins kommuna hevur meldað bygdina til ”best røktaðu bygd”. Grundgevingin fyri at løna Fámjins kommunu er, at bygdin sum heild er sera væl hildin og tað sæst at bygdafólkini eru góð við sína bygd. Nýggi vatnbrunnurin vísir hvussu sera væl náttúran kann goyma.
